Julienne Molineaux: Library and Archives Canada, Ten Years After the Merger

The video really starts about 5 minutes in. Interesting, Julienne Mollineaux begins her talk with a reference to control over work.

The New Zealand government is contemplating merging its national library and national archives, and Molineaux evaluated the merger in Canada, as N.Z. was looking to Canada as a potential example of how to proceed. She is a Political Scientist who works as a lecturer in the Centre for Business Interdisciplinary Studies at AUT (Auckland University of Technology). She asks the question “For whom was the merger a good thing?” because in every merger there are winners and losers.
